A brief PDf tutorial on the top 5 sailing knots. So, get to learning you landlubber! The sea awaits!
I’ve always wanted to have some kind of specific skill – like knot-tying. Something that is both functional and impressive. You know, just the kind of thing that could possibly save your life in a pinch. Knot-tying has always been a major contender in this dream, so this might come in handy (if I find some free time!). Thanks Mr Sabich!
With knots it’s only a rockclimber who knows the feeling ..
yeah being able to make a floatation device of your shirt in the dead of night as a ‘man’ person overboard aint gonna cut at el capitan
Oh, heck yea, you are totally welcome, Rebecca. My advice is to get a monkey line and just have at it. You can throw it against walls out of frustration and it is of little consequence. (ha) But once you do get the hang of the knots, it certainly feels great and therapeutic.
Sharky .. old mate – ‘getting the hang of knots’ – would make a pretty fair tweet. Got me laughing.
That would be a great tweet, Pete!
